Q&As regarding membership
The ECA GMP Auditor Association is an Interest Group of the ECA Foundation. It was established in 2023 with the goal to provide a common platform (professional development, networking, information exchange, advocacy and representation) for professionals in the pharmaceutical industry who assume this central function within the pharmaceutical quality assurance system.
Membership in the ECA Foundation’s GMP Auditor Association is free of charge. To become a member, you simply have to complete the registration form. Please also see “How does the registration process work?” for further instructions.
As a GMP Auditor you have a central function within the pharmaceutical quality assurance system. However, as there didn’t exist any adequate representation of auditors, the ECA Foundation closed the gap with the GMP Auditor Association, which provides you with various benefits, such as providing a platform for
- your professional development and for your networking
- information exchange
- advocacy and representation
For more information please see Why a GMP Auditor Association.
In the members’ area you will find three areas comprising valuable information for your daily work as a GMP Auditor:
- the Online Discussion Forum provides you with a platform to connect, discuss current questions and challenges, share experience, and learn from each other.
- the Download Area allows you to access Guidelines, Position Papers, Question & Answer Documents or other publications developed in dialogue with you as members. These Guides will partly be developed through taking advantage of the knowledge gained through surveys.
- in the Survey Area you will find surveys and respective summary reports.
You will find the members’ area in the website’s main menu at “members”. If you already set up your personal login you can simply go to the "Login" and enter your personal username and password. Please also see “How do I set up my personal login” for further instructions how to do that. If you have not registered for membership yet, you can do so with the membership application form. Membership is free of charge. Please also see “How does the registration process work?”.
You set up your login with a personal username and password yourself during the registration process. Please make sure to choose a username different from your e-mail address. Please see “Why do I need to set up a personal login?” for more details. Please also see “How do I set up my personal login?” for instructions how to do that.
If you already set up your personal login and just misplaced/lost your password, please see “How can I get my personal login when I misplaced/lost it?”.
In the members’ area you will find a wealth of information you will benefit from in your daily work – made available exclusively to members of the GMP Auditor Association. To access this area, you need a personal login. As your personal username will be visible for all members on your posts in the online discussion forum, please choose a username different than your e-mail address.
When you register for the GMP Auditor Association, you will already be asked in the registration process to set up a personal username and password. You can choose any username and password you wish. However, please do not use your e-mail address as username (please see “Why do I need to set up a personal login?” for explanation).
Once you entered your contact details and your personal login in the registration form you’ll receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you also provided in the form. This mail will comprise a confirmation link* which you need to click on to activate your membership. Please note, though, that sometimes this e-mail ends up in the "junk" or "spam" mail folder. In that case you'll need to drag this mail to your inbox and click on the link. By clicking the confirmation link you will get back to the login site for the members area. Only then your registration is complete and you will be recognized as member.
